Regardless of which version of DSpace you are running, you are encouraged to upgrade to HANDLE.NET Software version 6.2 under the terms of the Handle System Public License (Ver. 2). Untar the distribution, replace your existing handle.jar file with the new one, and restart your server. (See the Release Notes for more information on Version 6.2.)

If you are currently using the Handle System in your DSpace implementation with a prefix assigned prior to June 19, 2006, please go to Handle System Registration - Step 1 to register your service.
