We are planning a Handle System workshop in Brussels on June 17th,
2008 at the offices of OPOCE, the Office for Official Publications
of the European Communities. It will be held in conjunction with the
annual IDF open meeting, in much the same format as the same two
meetings held last year at AAAS in Washington, DC. The IDF meeting
will be held in the morning, OPOCE will generously provide lunch for
all attendees of both meetings, and the Handle workshop will be in
the afternoon.
A number of presentations are in place for the Handle section, but
there are still some slots left. Anyone who would like to give a
presentation can submit a proposal to hdladmin@cnri.reston.va.us.
The goal is presentations on interesting applications using the
Handle System, with at least some technical detail.
There will be no charge for either meeting and those who are
interested in both are more than welcome to spend the day.
Registration will be required. Preliminary agendas will be posted
here as will details on registration when it is opened.
