Hi Christoph,

this is an intresting example that really gives food to my imagination of possible handle usage szenarios.

I tried to query the proxy about the type definitions:
http://hdl.handle.net/100.TYPES/DATA.REPOSITORY?no_redirect
- negative.

So are this not "real" handles or just once without public access?

You are right, at the moment the 100.TYPES/DATA.REPOSITORY handle does not resolve to anything.

The idea though is that it would and could provide information about the type, who created it, for what purpose,
how to use it, code, rendering proxies etc... basically anything that would help in using that particular type.
We are internally reviewing the sort of information that such a handle would resolve to and have plans to create some form
of handle type registry using the handle system of course.

Thanks!
