[Handle-info] Problems authenticating...
I'm installing a handle server on a Sun server (solaris 8).
I have java version "1.4.2_05" available, and have configured my system
(passphrase-less certificates). I even have my prefix back from CNRI and
edited my config.dct file as per the install.txt file.
I can start up the handle server:
UDP handle Request Listener:
address: /129.215.166.69
port: 2641
TCP handle Request Listener:
HTTP handle Request Listener:
address: /129.215.166.69
address: /129.215.166.69
port: 2641
port: 8000
Starting UDP request handlers: Starting TCP request handlers: Starting
HTTP request handlers: ....................DONE
and can connect to it via http.
I can start up the HandleTool gui, but I cannot get the Tool to
authenticate to the server.
My ID Handle is set to 0.NA/10189
My ID Index is set to 300
My private key file is set to /<full path>/admpriv.bin
but the admin tool fails to authenticate, and logs:
sending HDL-TCP request (version=2.1; oc=1; rc=0; snId=0 crt caCrt
noAuth 0.NA/10189 [ ] [300, ]) to 132.151.1.179:2641
received HDL-TCP response: version=2.1; oc=1; rc=1; snId=0 crt
caCrt noAuth 0.NA/10189
index=300 type=HS_PUBKEY rwr- "[snip key]"
I can regenerate new keys... and they give me an "authentication
failure" too.
I have re-run the SimpleSetup, still the same problem?
Any tips?
(oh... and the domain name for my server actually resolves to multiple
IP numbers [separate networks: redundancy], can I put domain names in
the config.dct file?)
