What Eric said was correct in that the error message comes from the fact that the server didn't have the table (called "nas") that contained the prefixes for which it was responsible. That can be fixed via inserting 0.NA/PREFIX into your nas table, or by using the 'home' function of the admin tool.
Even with the entry in the nas table you might still need to transfer the contents of your 'handles' table. We have a java program (unsupported) that will convert from the default JDB database to an SQL database, but it might be a pain to get running so I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a lot of handles to move and some time to fiddle with it. Let me know if you'd like to give it a shot though.
Cheers, Sean

I just reconfigured our handle server to use mysql rather than jdb. I

Does anyone have a quick how to?
