[handle-dev] Handle System RFCs
The IETF has recently released three Informational RFCs documenting the
Handle System:
Handle System Overview, S. Sun, L. Lannom, B. Boesch, RFC 3650,
November 2003
Handle System Namespace and Service Definition, S. Sun, S. Reilly L.
Lannom, RFC 3651, November 2003
Handle System Protocol (ver 2.1) Specification, S. Sun, S. Reilly L.
Lannom, J. Petrone, RFC 3652, November 2003
You can find them at your nearest friendly RFC mirror, or directly at
the IETF site (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3650.txt etc.).
The handles which have for some years now pointed at the evolving and
much debated drafts now point to the RFCs, even though we don't really
own the documents anymore.

http://hdl.handle.net/4263537/4068
http://hdl.handle.net/4263537/4086
Will probably change those handles later to point to local copies
containing references to the IETF versions. The documents are now cast
in cement. RFCs are never changed - just made obsolete by newer
versions.
