Upgrade to HANDLE.NET Version 7.2.1

To upgrade to HANDLE.NET 7.2.1 software:

1. See the Release Notes (and Change Log).

2. Read and accept the terms of the Handle System Public License Agreement. This license agreement applies to the use of handle system technology, whether or not you use the handle.net software.

3. Confirm your version of Java. Version 7.2.1 will run on most platforms with Java 5.0 and higher (version 1.5.0).

4. Download the software, put the bin subdirectory in your path, then run the command
   
   hdl-server <serverdir>
   
   (The command used in version 6 to start the handle server will not work, as multiple Java jar files are now required to run the server.)

5. There are no changes required in the configuration of your handle server. Refer to the install.txt file in the distribution for complete installation instructions.
