Other HANDLE.NET® Software CNRI Handle Extension for Firefox The CNRI Handle Extension for Firefox embeds a handle client in the Firefox browser. It finds handles used as references in web pages, sends them directly to the Handle System for resolution, and gets back current information about the identified entity, e.g., current location. The results of that handle resolution are used to determine browser behavior. HDL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat® and Acrobat Reader® The HDL Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader is an extension that adds functionality to PDF documents which are identified by embedded handles. Developers who want to set up their own proxy server may download the proxy servlet code, implemented by CNRI as a Java servlet. The Handle URI Resolver is a plug-in that enables Microsoft Internet Explorer® Windows version to recognize the handle protocol and resolve a handle of the form hdl:10.123/456. The Handle Tool is an administrative client developed by CNRI, for server administration and identifier operations. It is included in the HANDLE.NET server software distribution.
