At that point you need tools to create a self signed certificate with a specified "distinguished name" and public key using a specified private key. I don't know what the appropriate tools are for Windows, unfortunately.
We have a procedure to create a handle private/public key-pair and derived certificate without public key to authenticate against the handle HTTP JSON REST api. This is entirely linux based.
Does anybody have a method to accomplish this using Windows only and is willing to share it?
