Re: [Handle-info] About GHR

1. The values that correspond to HS_SITE.PREFIX and HS_SERV.PREFIX types in a prefix record indicate where the derived prefixes are managed. An MPA uses these types for managing prefixes that are derived from its credential. The values that correspond to HS_SITE and HS_SERV types in a prefix record indicate where the actual handle records are managed. Again, an MPA uses these types to manage handles under a given prefix.

2. MPAs are primarily responsible for the information in the records that are populated in the GHR. For example, the Coalition for Handle Services – China is responsible for the information in the 0.GHR/86 record.

Since each MPA has its own policies and procedures for management of handle records related to its GHR service, you should contact your GHR service provider for any GHR related questions.

1 Why not configure site information(HS_SITE, HS_SITE.PREFIX, HS_SERV, HS_SERV.PREFIX) on 0.NA/86, but configure it on 0.NA/86.1000. What are the benefits and considerations for doing this?
2 0.GHR/86 Is it also responsible for dona?

Thank you!
