Re: [Handle-info] Handle server won't bind

Thanks a lot! That was actually the problem.
It's working without issues now.

If the ports are available, you may have a "bind_address" that is not known to your computer. This happens if you enter your public IP address but the server only has a local IP address behind NAT.

When in doubt, delete the three instances of "bind_address" from your server's config.dct and restart. This will cause your server to bind to all addresses.

Hello,

I am getting the following error when starting handle-server:

"2016/06/10 11:57:56 UTC" 100 class net.handle.server.HdlUdpInterface: Error setting up server socket: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address

This last line repeats many times.

My installation is
- Ubuntu Server 16.04
- openjdk version "1.8.0_91"
- DSpace 5.5 (Fresh install)

I have checked and no other process is using port 2641 or 8000.

I can't figure out what is causing the issue.

Thank you,
