Re: [Handle-info] XQuartz and hdl-admintool

Thanks for your responses. Will try to replicate a working environment.

I’ve noticed I am having XQuartz problems with another machine, so it’s probably me.

This doesn't quite sound like your problem, but FWIW I've run into issues using X11 apps on a retina display.  Seems like the screen resolution is getting reported differently, depending on how the application asks.

When I connect to a non-retina external display things are much happier.

I don't have the hdl-admintool handy so i can't easily test for you.

thanks

Hi all,

I have recently taken over responsibility for the Handle service at UTS.

Just wondering whether anyone has had a similar problem to mine,
connecting to hdl-admintool over X using XQuartz on OS X. The tool opens,
the mouseovers highlight the buttons, but I can쨔t click on anything. I
worked around this by firing up a Ubuntu virtual machine and it worked
straight off the bat.

OS X 10.10.3
XQuartz 2.7.7
Handle 7.2

Thanks
