In short, this is a bug which is fixed in version 7 on.

A mirror refuses admin requests.  The authentication-related messages are considered admin requests in version 6, so the mirror refuses are requests requiring authentication, even read-only requests like listing handles.

As a workaround for you, I've changed your primary handle so that the list app you are using should try to contact the primary.
