Re: [Handle-info] Client API

I apologize for the delayed reply. There was work done here on a Python client over a decade ago, but it was never released or supported, and we have no plans to work on this in the future.

We would be very supportive of someone else developing a Python client, and would be happy to advise, test, and publicize.

We are developing an HTTP API for handle servers which might be an option for you next year. Meanwhile, you may also want to consider having your tool call Java-based command-line scripts provided with the main handle server distribution.
