Annual Service Fee

To help defray the cost of running the Global Handle Registry, registered users pay an annual service fee of $50 per prefix.

Instructions for Paying an Annual Service Fee:

When a service fee payment is due, users are asked to complete the Handle System Registration form again, to update their contact information and renew their Handle System Service Agreement, before paying the $50 per-prefix service fee.

Steps for Paying the Service Fee:

1. Click the "REGISTER YOUR HANDLE SERVICE" button below to view the Registration Form;
2. Complete the form, and click the "Accept" button at the bottom of the form to accept the terms of the Service Agreement;
3. A registration confirmation page with payment information will dispaly, with a new Handle System Service Account (HSSA) number that identifies this transaction, and instructions for making either check, wire transfer or PayPal payments.

(Note that the payment information page serves both new and previously registered users. Paying a prefix registration fee and submitting a sitebndl.zip file apply only to new users.)
